Charlotte has overcome so much since she arrived at Pebble Ranch.  Charlotte was the victim of severe head trauma, given to her by someone she trusted.  She was having seizures and was unable to straighten her head tilt.  After many months of close medical care and anti-seizure medication, she has recovered.  She does have some residual brain damage that causes her to walk a little funny.  We call it Charlotte’s fancy walk.  But most importantly, she has learned to trust again.  She will slowly approach new people to say hello and she allows gentle scratches on her back.  We are so proud of her progress and the bravery she shows every day.
