Tyson and his family were abandoned out in Joshua Tree.  His previous human caregivers just packed up and moved, leaving Tyson, his mom, his auntie and all his siblings behind.  Luckily, a kind neighbor provided food and water until a sanctuary could be found.  Before they could make their way to their forever home here with us, this family also got attacked by dogs.  By the time they got to us, they were in pretty rough shape.  Despite all of this Tyson and his family are all so friendly.  They have not lost their trust in the kindness of people and love to interact with us.  Tyson bears a large scar across his side, but he hasn’t let his past trauma stop him.  He is brave and gentle and will know only safety and love from here on out.
