Michael is a gentle soul.  He prefers quiet time on his own to nap or stretch out in the sun.  He needs a little time to process the trauma of his past and realize that he is in a safe place now.  We are working to give him that space and to earn his trust.  We are patiently waiting for him to accept the love and companionship we are ready to give.
